Career highlight:                  Big Brother 5 – a big win on Nadia was a huge boost and eased the financial worries of leaving work.

Career lowlight:                   2002 German Grand Prix – I lost £800, a disaster at the time and almost the end of my betting career before it had started.

Speciality                               Reality TV

Number one rule:                Never place a bet without a very good reason.

Tom Millard – Regular contributor to Bet Exchange News

Age:                                        26

cv:                                           Left university in 1999, and started betting in my spare time.  Betting skills were honed by a period of time working full time for Sporting Life, which I left in 2003 to become a full time sports bettor.

Speciality:                              Motor racing and football.

Career highlight:                  Siding with Bolton in the ante-post Premiership spreads market.

Career lowlight:                   A losing streak three months after leaving work lost me a big chunk of my betting bank and shook my confidence.  Fortunately, thanks to a strict staking plan I was able to turn this around.

Number one rule:                Don't play out of boredom and never chase losses. Always look to lock in profit where possible.

Another thing:                       I continue to do motorsports previews for Sporting Life's Bettingzone, as
