I launched Bet Exchange News in 2001 to report on the emerging betting exchange revolution and to help punters take advantage of the opportunities and minimise the risks arising from this new type of betting.
Led by Betfair and Betdaq, betting exchanges enable you to place bets against other punters at mutually acceptable odds in a secure environment. Cutting out the bookmaker has made profitable gambling a reality for those punters with the very best discipline, judgement and information. The ability to back and lay the same outcome has also given rise to sports trading in which users effectively bet on price movements, enabling accomplished traders to end events with a profit regardless of the outcome.
In 2006 I decided that for me there was more money to be made from using the exchanges than writing about them, so I gave up writing the newsletter to focus on playing full time. The whole newsletter archive is still available to be viewed on this site. As well as a unique record of the formative years of Betfair and its competitors you will find numerous articles by successful punters giving revealing and generous insights into what it takes to come out on top.
Be warned though – it’s not easy! For the minority to win the majority must lose and articles on the site look into the numerous pitfalls faced by inexperienced and ill disciplined punters using these sites and looking for easy money.
Domains and site for sale.
The newsletter archive on this site is extremely rich in key words which should allow for excellent search engine optimisation in the right hands. If you are interested in buying this site and/or the domain name(s) www.p2pbetting.com www.betexchangenews.com, www.p2pbetting.co.uk or you have any other questions please contact me using this form.
